ikonic Interior pieces of the week

IKonic Interior is back with more pieces for the new year of 2023! Some of the items featured below come from vintage backgrounds, which we can all appreciate. Read more to check them out.

OPUS STUPENDO METALLICA GREEN SOFA BY CARLO RAMPAZZI

Carlo Rampazzi earned his place as the first piece of this week with this beautiful “Opus Stupendo” sofa. I adore the rich emerald green shade of the velvet seats that accompany its wooden base that is finished off with a metallic coat.

The back of the sofa is the most intriguing detail that I could not resist. Rampazzi added artwork to the middle cushion, giving off the effect of a mirrorball. The upholstery displays colorful ancient Roman art by referencing the pop art style. Who needs to hang a painting when you can sit with it? Selling on Artemest.com.

“Our admiration of the antique is not admiration of the old, but of the natural.”

CUBE SIDE TABLE

The perfect side table for an eclectic home or workspace. With its geometrical pattern, the cube takes on a multi-dimensional form, which is perfect for bringing attention to it and its surroundings. In my opinion, the Cube would compliment a hot pink or lemon yellow loveseat. Available on Chairish.com.

LIMITED EDITION MARIYLIN RUG BY SITAP CARPET COUTURE ITALIA

If you’ve never witnessed that well-known scene from “The Seven Year Itch,” then you should probably stop what you’re doing and watch it. The icon, Marilyn Monroe, stood over a sidewalk grate and was greeted with a “delicious breeze” from the heated air below. Although the movie shows us the action from above, this rug from Sitap Carpet Couture sparks our imagination with what’s going on underneath. But not in a creepy way, more of an artistic point of view by being able to capture all angles of history being made.

The Marilyn Rug showcases a red layered gown, which is different from the white dress in the film. The rug reminds me of a flower. I believe there’s a meaning behind it. What do you all think? Available to purchase from Artemest.com.

SALTERINI NEON PINK WROUGHT IRON OUTDOOR PATIO SET

I love a sexy patio set that allows me to enjoy a nice meal or my favorite cocktail, a Strawberry Mojito, with friends. The Salterini Pink Outdoor Set is definitely something that would look perfect on a balcony in a city with a lively nightlife.

For my gals and guys who love bright colors, this hot pink is meant to bring some zest to your patios, balconies, or backyards. Like most outdoor tables, you can add an umbrella to compliment this piece. P.S. Y’all really should try that drink… you won’t regret it. Available for sale through Chairish.com.

CORALLI BLACK AND GOLD TABLE LAMP

I had to feature this lamp by Massimo Marcomini because of the gold coral. It takes the crown! The Coralli lamp brings an elegant aesthetic to its surroundings, ideal for those who like to host events. I love that it’s activated because it adds to its delicate appeal. The sleek finish perfectly compliments the gold hue of the coral on top. Now when I say show up with a housewarming gift, this is what I mean. For sale on Artemest.com.
